TASD - Tank trailer with rigid drawbar
The transport alternative
Our TASD – a tank trailer with a rigid drawbar – was developed for transporting farm manure between the farm and the field. The vehicles are suitable for both traditional transport tasks and for repositioning work, as well as for use as a field shuttle in in-field logistics.
High manoeuvrability, stable handling and excellent manoeuvring capabilities make the TASD an efficient solution for a variety of transport tasks.
Whether a tandem or tridem model – the right solution for your application
The TASD series is available as a tandem or tridem vehicle and can be customised to suit specific transport tasks. As standard, an air-suspended chassis ensures a comfortable ride and stable handling. A range of tyre options (385/65 R 22.5 to 710/50 R 26.5) and numerous equipment options allow for a configuration tailored to your needs.
The tanks are available either galvanized or painted, allowing them to be optimally adapted to the specific operating conditions. The vehicles can also be TÜV-approved for speeds of up to 60 km/h.
Tandem features:
- Tank sizes: 18, 20 and 22 m³
- Fitted as standard with hydraulically lockable trailing steering
- Optionally available with hydraulic or electro-hydraulic forced steering (ESS)
Tridem features:
- Tank sizes: 22, 24, 26, 28 and 30 m³
- Fitted as standard with hydraulic forced steering
- Optional: ESS electro-hydraulic forced steering
Sophisticated and safe
Over many years, we have channelled our extensive expertise into the development and design of our tank trailers – we provide you with a tried and tested product for everyday use.
Your safety is our priority. The losh plates in TASD tanks are designed in accordance with the current safety standard DIN EN 707. The 18 and 20 m³ models feature three losh plates. From a tank capacity of 22 m³ upwards, four losh plates are fitted. All Tridem models are fitted with four losh plates as standard, ensuring safe handling both on the road and in the field.
Clever steering and saving fuel
Steering axles improve manoeuvrability and directional stability, which significantly reduces tyre wear and the load on the entire chassis. You also save fuel with steering axles, as this makes the feeder much easier to pull. Two forced steering systems are available for the TASD:
Hydraulic forced steering:
- Simple and robust system
- Large steering angle possible
Electro-hydraulic forced steering:
- ElectronicSteeringSystem (ESS 2.0)
- Simple connection as no steering linkage is required.
- Manual steering possible via control unit
Optimal docking
Depending on requirements, the docking funnels can be positioned at the top and/or bottom of the tank rear wall. The docking device at the top of the rear wall is fitted with a pump sump as standard to ensure that the tank is always completely emptied.
The design can be in DN 200 or DN 250, while the pipework at the rear of the tank is manufactured in DN 250 as standard.
You also have a choice of gate valves: we offer mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic versions.
Simply fill
With our garant suction arm solutions, you can fill your tank trailer easily, quickly and conveniently.
All hydraulic functions of the vehicle can be operated via an optional drum control.
Empty cleanly
Our transfer tube empties the hopper quickly, cleanly and efficiently - regardless of whether the transfer takes place at the edge of the field or when transferring fertiliser on the farm.
The overloading pipe scores points with this:
- DN 150 or DN 200
- Can be swivelled to the left or right
- Drip tray with drain hose
- Optionally available with height adjustment (max. height: approx. 5.30 m)
