garant Kotte slurry tanker with Kennfixx® couplers
Kennfixx® couplers are colour-coded hydraulic couplers that enable quick and unmistakable connection of hydraulic lines. The clear colour coding makes it easy to distinguish the functions, preventing incorrect connections.
In addition to the colour coding, the garant Kotte couplers have easy-to-understand symbols, text, and a laser-engraved QR code:
Symbol: depicts the function as a pictogram
Short description of the function (English / German)
(+) (Plus) = activation of a single-acting or double-acting hydraulic function
(–) (Minus) = activation of a double-acting function in the opposite direction
QR code: using the QR code on the coupler, an explanation of the functions in various languages can be conveniently accessed via a mobile phone.
Note:
Couplers should only be connected or disconnected when depressurised.
Contamination on the couplers must be removed before connection.
Load-Sensing // LS connection
The Load Sensing coupler connects the load-sensing line of the implement to the tractor. Through this connection, the control pressure from the consumer is transmitted to the tractor’s hydraulic system, allowing the pump to deliver flow on demand. Coupling must only be carried out when depressurised.
P-Pressure line // P-Druckleitung
The coupler is used to connect the pressure line (P-line) of the hydraulic system to the tractor. This connection supplies the operating pressure for the connected system.
The connection is marked “(P)” and is pressurised when the tractor is in operation.
Coupling must only be carried out when depressurised.
T-Return line // T-Rücklauf
The T-return is the depressurised return line of the hydraulic system and is marked with (T). It returns the oil from the tanker’s hydraulic system to the tractor’s hydraulic tank with minimal loss.
CASE DRAIN OIL // Lecköl
The leak oil line is used to safely return excess hydraulic oil from the hydraulic motors. This protects the seals and components of oil motors from damage and ensures trouble-free operation of the hydraulic system. A correctly connected leak oil line is essential, especially for slurry tankers with powerful pumps and complex hydraulics.

(+) Function for lifting the sprung drawbar.
The bottom hitch with sprung drawbar offers maximum driving comfort. It can be adjusted to different coupling heights. In addition, you can optimally adjust the slurry tanker's angle to suit any situation during filling and emptying.

Opening the bypass valve returns part of the flow back to the tank to reduce the application quantity without stopping the pump.
BYPASS GATE VALVE (–) // BYPASSSCHIEBER (–)
(–) Function for closing the bypass slide valve.
Closing the bypass slide valve prevents the flow from being diverted into the tank in order to increase the application quantity.
REGULATING GATE VALVE (+) // STAUSCHIEBER (+)
(+) Function for opening the slide gate valve.
Opening the slide gate valve releases the flow in the application path, thereby increasing the application quantity.
REGULATING GATE VALVE (–) // STAUSCHIEBER (–)
(–) Function for closing the slide gate valve.
Closing the slide gate valve limits the flow rate in the application path, allowing the application quantity to be reduced.
DOCKING GATE VALVE (+) // ANDOCKSCHIEBER (+)
(+) Function for opening the docking gate valve.
Opening the docking gate valve releases the docking funnel so that slurry can be sucked out of the tank.
DOCKING GATE VALVE (–) // ANDOCKSCHIEBER (–)

The docking gate valve is closed after suction to seal the tank securely.

(+) Function Ventilation gate valve.
The ventilation gate valve allows pressure equalisation in the slurry tank.
During passive filling or suction, the ventilation gate valve must be opened to ensure pressure equalisation in the tank. Air must escape during filling. Air must flow in during suction.

The blow-out gate valve directs air into the application lines of the dribble bar to empty or clean them after use.

Opening the distributor gate valve directs the slurry flow to the application device (dribble bar, etc.). The slurry is spread.
