After SmartControl Comfort and SmartControl Profi already became ISOBUS compatible due to a gateway last year, the two control system variants SmartControl Mini and SmartControl Eco are now also ISOBUS compatible. The ISOBUS compatibility is ensured by means of an AEF-certified gateway. New vehicles with SmartControl Mini and Eco control system can be equipped with the gateway from now on.
On the one hand, the advantage for the user of the new control system is the fact that important operating data of the slurry tanker such as e.g. the discharge quantity (m3/ha) can be displayed in the ISOBUS terminal of the tractor. On the other hand, important functions of the slurry tanker can be operated via the ISOBUS terminal and/or the joystick or lever of the tractor.
The gateway enables the use of all important task controller functionalities: TC-BAS for basic order management, TS-SC for automated switching of partial widths (ASC) and TC-GEO. The latter serves among other things for the integration of satellite-based position data. Furthermore, TC-GEO enables the reading-in of application maps and the writing-back of the work performed. Moreover, the previously scheduled target discharge quantities can be taken from the application map via Variable Rate Control (VRC).
